COVID-19 UPDATE - 03.16.2020

ALL RBBA activities are postponed until further notice.

We have been following the CDC guidelines as well as our local school boards decisions and as a result of the virus known as COVID-19, we recognize and respect the importance of social distancing.    At this time, we are not aware of any known cases or exposure in our community, however the health and well-being of all the players and volunteers is our number 1 priority.

Therefore, effective immediately and until further notice, all RBBA activities are suspended until and including Sunday April 5th.   If things change before this date, we will  communicate appropriately.   This will include all meetings, gatherings, practices, clinics and off-site practices at indoor facilities for all RBBA affiliated activities for all levels of RBBA Baseball and Softball.

I want to be clear that no RBBA teams are authorized to meet in any capacity at any location, until the RBBA Board approves our next steps to lift these restrictions.    Basically, our season is on HOLD.

To comply with this notice, this includes any RBBA Board meeting.

If there are any updates to communicate we will do that via email, Facebook and our website.   At this time, there is no need to contact us for an update as we are working through this situation, no different than any other organization.   This will be several weeks of fluidity and daily changes in our normal lives that we will all have to adapt to.

I assure you that we will communicate any changes as quickly as decisions are made.   We are following the lead of our local, county, state and federal authorities.    We respect the work that they are doing and the guidance they are providing.    We ask for your patience as we are going through some times that are definitely unprecedented.

We will continue to monitor updates that are provided by the authorities and we will respond according to the advised protocols.

Please follow the CDC recommendations to help prevent the spread of this virus.
