 ABOUT About RBBA

Who We Are Updated 11/16/2008
RBBA is an organization that provides Baseball and Softball in the communities of Richmond and Spring Grove. Our organization is staffed completely by volunteers.  These volunteers provide over 550 children, boys and girls ages 5 thru 19, with the opportunity to participate in baseball and softball.   Games are played at 7 different fields between Richmond and Spring Grove.  RBBA participates in both in-house leagues as well as provides the opportunity to play in the Jr. Rockets Travel Program for Softball and Baseball.  RBBA Board meetings are held the second Sunday of every month starting at 7:00 pm.  These meetings are held at Spring Grove Village Hall and everyone is welcome to attend.    If you would like to address the board, please email the secretary of RBBA at corinneregnier3@yahoo.com one week in advance of the scheduled meetings to be placed on the agenda.  We are always looking for input and suggestions.

Our Goals Updated 11/16/2008
Our goal as an organization is to provide a quality Baseball and Softball program for the kids of Richmond and Spring Grove.  In 2008 we adopted the principles of PCA (Positive Coaching Alliance).    We believe in the double goal approach to coaching.    A Double-Goal Coach will strive to win and more importantly, will use sports to teach life lessons through Positive Coaching.  We want to ensure that our organization from the volunteers that run the league to the managers and coaches on the field "Honor the Game".    We have invested in a PCA membership and require our managers and coaches to participate in the training program.
